Representatives of 24 countries confirmed their attendance at the forum “1520 Strategic Partnership: Central Europe”
To date, 250 delegates from 24 countries registered for the International Rail Business Forum “Strategic Partnership 1520: Central Europe”. The Forum will be held on February 20-22, 2018 in Vienna.
The following participants confirmed their attendance: Maxim Sokolov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Norbert Hofer, Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Austria, Oleg Belozerov, CEO – Chairman of the Management Board, Andreas Matthä, CEO of ÖBB-Holding AG , Jean-Luc Dufournaud, Chairman of the International Rail Transport Committee, Giovanni Rocca, Vice-President for Promotion of International Activities at Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane , Joan Amorós, President of FERRMED , and top officials from national railway operators of “broad” and “narrow” gauge countries, international industry organizations, and from companies of the banking sector as well.
The plenary session “Eurasian Corridor and New Silk Road. Towards Each Other” will be the highlight of the agenda. During the session the panelists will investigate the possibilities for improving the speed and quality of railway transit on the East-West route. Certain sessions will be devoted to the issues of international logistics, financing and construction of railway infrastructure, and of improving the technological 1520 and 1435 interoperability as well. International cooperation agreements will be signed during the Forum.

1520 Strategic Partnership is the international business forum aimed at coordination of the efforts of players in the Eurasia transport market in order to create a coherent infrastructure of international transportation corridors and the most comfortable passenger and cargo transportation environment.
