Astana will host the Third International Rail Business Forum “Strategic Partnership 1520: Central Asia” on 12-14 November 2012.
The Forum will build on the discussions held at the SP1520 in Sochi earlier this year which explored new opportunities in boosting trans-Eurasian transport corridors.
The upcoming debates will concentrate on this important issue through a closer look at the needs of the Central Asia to help unlock its great potential in both logistics and transit.
The Forum will consider how to encourage more competitive transport products for the growing number of manufacturing facilities in Central and Western China, expand container business on the East–West route, create modern rolling stock, and develop vibrant passenger transportation market.
The SP1520: Central Asia will bring together all major stakeholders, including national railway comanies from Kazakhstan, Russia and other 1520 countries, Kazakhstan government agencies, as well as a wide range of companies dealing with railway transportation and engineering.
